Our ethos remains the same, supporting and promoting art, artists and art groups local to Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.

AIM for Art Gallery was born four years ago when the centre:mk generously donated an empty shop space to Art in Milton Keynes (AIM).

AIM for Art is a charity. Our intention from the outset has been to provide a showcase for local artists and craftspeople from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding region and to be a platform for community endeavours in the centre of the city.

Because of this, our exhibitions have engaged a wide range of talents ranging from young illustrators with cutting edge ideas to local and national artists, graffiti designers and students from local schools. We have had one man shows and group displays by themed collectives. We also run a number of workshops and demonstrations each year to encourage local participation.

In addition to our regularly changing exhibition work, the gallery offers a range of affordable high quality gifts including jewellery, crafts and cards to bring a unique flavour to any celebration.

AIM for Art Gallery is growing in reputation not just for quality, but also for the range and imagination of the shows we launch. It is run entirely by volunteers who are happy to help maintain this accessible art resource in Milton Keynes.
